Child Dedication Gift Guide

Child Dedications is such an amazing celebration for families and the local church. Together we celebrate new life, growing families, and the responsibility that we all have to invest in the next generation and raise them to know and love God. Gifts are a common part of child dedication.

I love to gift a gift with three different elements: a gift for the parents, a gift to encourage home discipleship, and a fun or practical gift. In past environments, I have included a keepsake certificate with the child’s name, date, and the commitments spoken during the ceremony.

As I am building gifts, I have a list of books that parents can choose from. I let parents choose what books they would like so parents who have multiple children or just so happen to have a certain books already add something new to their collection.

Let’s get to it! Here is my list. Don’t forget to check-out that fun or practical gift list. Added bonus—make it customizable!
